Vivian Holloway is the visionary founder and artistic director of Emerald Stage Academy. With over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Vivian brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role. She is an accomplished actress, director, and producer, having worked on numerous stage productions, films, and television shows. Vivian's teaching philosophy centers on empowering students to discover their unique voice and develop their craft through rigorous training and personalized guidance.
Vivian holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting from the Yale School of Drama and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from UCLA. She has also studied with renowned acting coaches such as Stella Adler and Lee Strasberg. Vivian is a member of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) and the Directors Guild of America (DGA). She is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive and achieve their full potential.
Scene Study Instructor
Mark Jenkins is a highly respected scene study instructor at Emerald Stage Academy. With a career spanning over two decades, Mark has established himself as a leading expert in acting technique and performance analysis. He has coached numerous actors who have gone on to achieve success in theatre, film, and television. Mark's approach to scene study emphasizes in-depth character exploration, emotional authenticity, and dynamic interaction between actors.
Mark received his training at the prestigious Juilliard School, where he studied under the guidance of legendary acting teacher John Houseman. He has also worked as a director and dramaturge for several acclaimed theatre companies in Los Angeles and New York City. Mark is a recipient of the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for his outstanding contributions to the theatre community. He is dedicated to helping his students develop the skills and confidence they need to excel in their acting careers.
Voice and Movement Coach
Elena Ramirez is a highly sought-after voice and movement coach at Emerald Stage Academy. With a background in dance, yoga, and vocal training, Elena brings a holistic approach to her teaching. She is a certified yoga instructor and a registered voice teacher with the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS). Elena has worked with numerous actors in theatre, film, and television, helping them to develop their physical and vocal skills for a wide range of roles. Film Acting Instructor
Robert Davies is a highly experienced film acting instructor at Emerald Stage Academy. With over 15 years of experience in the film and television industry, Robert brings a practical and hands-on approach to his teaching. He helps actors master the art of acting for the camera, including on-set etiquette, audition techniques, and script analysis. Robert's goal is to prepare his students for the challenges and opportunities of working in the film and television industry.
Robert has worked as an actor, director, and producer on numerous independent films and television projects. He has also taught film acting at several universities and colleges in Los Angeles. Robert is a member of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) and the Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP). He is passionate about helping his students develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in their film acting careers. His classes focus on developing on-camera presence, understanding shot composition, and delivering authentic performances under pressure.
